HOW TO APPLY

How to Apply Press-On Nails Properly with Adhesive Tabs (For Longer Lasting):

*For short-term wear (3-7 days), sticky tabs are recommended. If you follow the instructions correctly with the blow dryer hack, press-ons will stay on your nails for 7-14 days, depending on the conditions.

*To make press-on nails last longer, please make sure that you choose the correct size. Check here for Sizing Chart

Wash your hands. Cut your nails to a suitable length before application.

You can use the Glitter Nail File from our Nail Care Kit to lightly buff your nail, then use the Mini Heart Shaped Double-Sided Nail Sponge File in the Kit to smooth out and refine the nail surface.

Gently push back your cuticles with our Crystal Cuticle Pusher.

(Optional) Use the Cuticle Trimmer tool to cut loose hangnails. Gently slide the trimmer under the edge of your cuticle, following the natural edge of your nail (It may cause bleeding or infected if use improperly so be really careful) If you don’t have much excess skin around your nail beds you can skip this step.

Remove the oils on nail surface by using alcohol pad / cleansing wipe or simply wash your hands with soap and water. This step is meant to wipe dust and clean your nail beds. Keep your nails clean and dry and make sure every single nail is dehydrated. (use new wipes on each finger, don’t use the same wipe over and over that carries the oil from previous one)

Choose the right size of the adhesive tabs to stick on your nail. Stick the tabs onto your nail and press firmly to hold it in place. Adhesive tab has extension, if not spread all over your nails try to push it all over your nails by using the crystal stick.

Secret Tip to make your press-ons adhesive tabs last longer: After applying adhesive tab on your natural nails, do not peel off the transparent film yet. Warming the adhesive tabs up with a blow dry for 10-15 seconds (with bearable medium heat), to help melt it onto the nails. It also becomes easier to take off the transparent film. Apply each nails. Press and hold your press-ons firmly for 30-50 seconds ensuring the nail receives even pressure.

After wearing them, DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS WET FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS, we strongly suggest the best to stick them on BEFORE BEDTIME.

How to Apply Press-On Nails Properly with Nail Glue:

*For longer-term use (more than 14 days), glue is a better option.

*Please note that when using nail glue, press-on nails may not be reusable as frequently as when using sticky tabs.

Step-by-Step Application Guide

1. Prep Your Natural Nails

Proper preparation is key to ensuring long-lasting wear. Follow these steps:

(1). Trim and file your natural nails to your desired shape.

(2). Gently buff the surface of your nails to remove shine.

(3). Clean your nails with rubbing alcohol to remove oils and moisture.

(4). Ensure your nails are completely dry before applying press-ons.

(Optional Pro Tip: Apply a thin layer of base coat to your natural nails and cure under a nail lamp for 30 seconds. This helps create a protective barrier and makes removal easier.)

2. Choose the Right Size

Selecting the correct press-on nail size ensures a seamless, natural fit. If needed, lightly file the edges of the press-ons for a customized fit. Check our Sizing Chart for guidance.

3. Apply Nail Glue

(1). Apply a pea-sized amount of LuxeCharm Nail Glue to the back of the press-on nail and a thin layer on your natural nail.

(2). Gently spread the glue evenly to cover the surface.

(3). Press and hold the press-on nail firmly onto your natural nail for 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

(For a temporary hold, use the included adhesive tabs instead of nail glue.)

4. Let It Set

Avoid water, lotions, and oils for at least 3 hours after application to allow the glue to fully set.

5. Safe Removal & Reuse

No need to worry about stubborn glue—our nails can be easily removed by soaking them in warm, soapy water with a few drops of oil. For detailed information on how to properly remove press-on nails, click here.

Feeling a Bit of Tightness When Wearing Your Press-Ons?

If your press-on nails feel a little too snug or uncomfortable, don’t worry—it might simply be because you have flat nail beds. This is actually more common than you think! A natural curve mismatch between your nails and the press-ons can cause some pressure or lifting at the sides.

Here’s an easy fix you can try at home: Carefully heat some water until it's hot (but not boiling), then gently press your press-on nails onto a glass surface. The warmth will slightly soften the nails, making it easier to gently flatten the curve for a more custom fit to your natural nails. Just be extra careful not to burn your fingers during the process!
