HOW TO PROPERLY CARE
Our LuxeCharm high-quality PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) press-on nails can often be reused multiple times. If properly cared for, they can last longer than cheaper alternatives. To maximize their lifespan, follow these tips:
- Gentle Removal: Soak them in warm, soapy water or use a non-acetone remover to help loosen the adhesive before gently removing them. LuxeCharm has a full article on this—check out "How to Reuse Your Press-On Nails After Using Nail Glue" for detailed tips.
- Clean And Store: After removal, clean the underside of the nails to remove any residue or glue. You can clean the nails with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly. Store them in a cool, dry place, preferably in their original packaging.
- Storage: Keep them in a safe place, away from direct sunlight and heat, to prevent warping.
- Reapplication: Use a good-quality adhesive for reapplication to ensure they stick securely, avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals or Abrasive cleaners: When caring for your LuxeCharm press-on nails, it's best to steer clear of harsh chemicals like acetone, bleach, and strong disinfectants—they can mess with the finish and quality of your nails. Avoid abrasive cleaners like scrubbers or steel wool, too, since they can scratch the surface. Isopropyl alcohol works great for disinfecting, but it can dry out your nails and the skin around them. Using it too often might shorten the lifespan of LuxeCharm press-ons by affecting the adhesive bond. While using it occasionally is usually fine, try to limit exposure and stick to milder soaps and gentle cleaning methods to keep your nails looking fresh longer.
By taking these steps, you can enjoy our LuxeCharm press-on nails multiple times!
