How To Apply Press-On Nails In 8 Easy Steps

  • STEP 1

    Wash your hands. Cut your nails to a suitable length before application. Use the Glitter Nail File from our Nail Care Kit to lightly buff your nail.

  • STEP 2

    Gently push back your cuticles with our Crystal Cuticle Pusher.

  • STEP 3

    Use the Cuticle Trimmer tool to cut loose hangnails. Gently slide the trimmer under the edge of your cuticle (be really careful, stick to trimming the excess only)

  • STEP 4

    Gently buff your nails with the Mini Heart Shaped Double-Sided Nail Sponge File. Remove the oils on nail surface by using alcohol pad/cleansing wipe or wash your hands with soap and water.

  • STEP 5

    Choose the right size of the adhesive tabs to stick on your nail. Stick the tabs onto your nail and press firmly to hold it in place.

  • STEP 6

    Blow Dryer Hack: Warming the adhesive tabs up with a blow dry for 15 seconds (with bearable heat), to help melt it onto the nails.

  • STEP 7

    Push adhesive tabs all over your nails by using the crystal stick. It should become easier to take off the transparent film. Apply each nails.

  • STEP 8

    Press and hold your press ons firmly for 30 seconds ensuring the nail receives even pressure. Do not get your nails wet for at least 3 hours, we strongly suggest the best to stick them on before bedtime.

Are LuxeCharm press-on nails reusable?

Yes, LuxeCharm press-on nails are reusable.

When using adhesive tabs, the press-on nails can be easily removed using the included cuticle pusher, leaving no residue on your nail beds or the press-on itself.

For nails applied with nail glue, any residue on the inside of the press-on (the side that contacts your natural nail) can be gently filed away with the included file, allowing you to reuse the nails without compromising their quality or finish. Unlike cheap, mass-produced press-ons, our nails retain their glossy appearance and structure after proper cleaning.

By following our How to Properly Care instructions, you can enjoy your LuxeCharm nails multiple times, maintaining their luxurious look.

How long does press-on nails stay on?

The longevity of LuxeCharm press-on nails depends on how they're applied.

For regular wear, we recommend using adhesive tabs. When following our step-by-step "How to Apply" instructions with sticky tabs, they can stay on for 5-7 days, and with proper application, some users can even enjoy them for over a week. 

However, for a longer-lasting hold, nail glue provides a stronger bond, keeping your nails in place for up to 3-4 weeks. Currently, our packaging does not include nail glue because we want to ensure the highest quality and safety for our customers. We're also actively developing a safer, high-quality nail glue to ensure the best possible experience.

Do press-on nails damage my real nails?

Acrylic and gel nails can weaken and damage your natural nails, especially when removed incorrectly. For those with medium or long nails, breaking a fake nail can also cause your natural nail to crack or split. Press-on nails are a safer option—they won’t damage your natural nails or nail beds, even if your nails are longer or have broken. When applied and removed properly, they offer a durable, beautiful solution while protecting your nails.

At this time, we offer 12 carefully crafted, pre-designed styles available on our website. While we don’t provide custom designs at the moment, we’re excited to let you know that new styles will be launching soon.
